The Ski Center LTD

The Ski Center LTD traces its roots back to 1976 when Gerry Brown, an enthusiastic skier and sports lover, opened the Ski Shoppe LTD. After Gerry’s passing, the shop continued under the guidance of Jeannie Brown, Van Branch, and its dedicated staff. In recent years, the Ski Shoppe in Reisterstown, MD, joined forces with the Ski Center in Washington, D.C., merging their teams and expertise to form a strong consortium. Together, they built on more than nine decades of combined experience: the Ski Shoppe had been a local staple for over 41 years in a historic building, while the Ski Center enjoyed a 53-year reputation as a national leader in winter sports gear and service.

Now known as The Ski Center LTD, the business carries forward the traditions of exceptional service and community care established by both Gerry Brown and the Ski Center legacy. With a mission to deliver the very best in skis, snowboards, winter apparel, boot fitting, and accessories across the Mid-Atlantic region.
