Sanction Skateshop

Sanction Skate and Snow was born from the legacy of Boardzone — a small northern Toronto skate shop where many locals bought their first board. Since rebranding in 2008, Sanction has grown into one of Canada’s leading destinations for skateboarding and snowboarding gear, offering one of the country’s largest selections of boards, bindings, and accessories.

The shop’s mission centers on exceptional customer service and expertly curated gear, distinguishing it from impersonal big-box retailers. Sanction emphasizes the importance of supporting local skate and snowboard shops, which act as cultural hubs that foster community events, mentor young riders, and strengthen the local skate scene. With knowledgeable staff offering tailored advice and a passion for the sports they serve, Sanction continues to promote grassroots growth and community connection within Canada’s skate and snowboard culture.
