Thick Bikes

Thick Bikes, a bike shop in Pittsburgh, PA, was founded by Chris Beech in 2001. Initially a custom bike fabrication shop, it gradually expanded into a full-fledged bike shop, offering repair services, sales, and bike apparel. Over 20 years, Chris and his team have become a cornerstone of the Pittsburgh bike community, sponsoring events and supporting local initiatives.

They have received recognition for winning the most “Best Pittsburgh Bike Shop” awards in the city. The shop is still family-run, with Chris, his son, and wife actively involved in the business, working on bikes, assisting customers, or riding in the city.
